My Perfect Quick Adventure in Seattle

If you're wondering whether one day in Seattle is enough, the answer is yes! While there's so much more to explore, we were able to visit several of Seattle's most iconic attractions in just one day. We had just gotten off an Alaskan Cruise and we were waiting for our flight that night. Here is what I did for the time I was in Seattle.

Seeing the Space Needle

Our first stop was the iconic Space Needle. Although we didn't go to the top, seeing Seattle's most famous landmark in person was still worth it. The surrounding area is beautiful to walk around, and there are plenty of great spots for photos.

Even from the ground, the Space Needle is an impressive.

Exploring Seattle on a Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour

Since we only had one day in Seattle, taking a Hop On Hop Off bus tour was one of the best decisions we made. It made getting around the city easy while allowing us to see many of Seattle's top attractions without worrying about parking or transportation.

Along the way, we learned interesting facts about the city's history and enjoyed views of Seattle’s neighborhoods, waterfront, and skyline.

Visiting Pike Place Market

No trip to Seattle is complete without visiting Pike Place Market. The market is full of local vendors, colorful flower stands, & unique shops.

Every corner offers something new to discover, making it one of the city's most vibrant and memorable destinations.

We just walked around the market and enjoyed the atmosphere of this iconic market.

Stopping by the Original Starbucks

While exploring Pike Place Market, we made sure to visit the original Starbucks store. It's a popular stop for coffee lovers and one of Seattle's most famous attractions. I was in awe that this was the original Starbucks. I waited in line and luckily didn’t have to wait long because there was an availability. Usually the line is long and lots of people are waiting. I am glad we went at a good time.

They won’t even let you go in and look. You must make a reservation. There was cute merchandise to purchase and they even kept the original Starbucks logo. They also give you samples of the special reserve they have there for Pike Place.

Even if there's a line, it's a fun & one of a kind experience to see where one of the world's biggest coffee brands got its start. It was definitely a bucket list moment for me.

Capturing the Best Seattle Skyline at Kerry Park

We ended our day at Kerry Park, and it couldn't have been a better finale.

The view of the Seattle skyline, with the Space Needle front and center, is absolutely breathtaking. You can also see Mount Rainier in the distance.

It's one of the best photospots in Seattle and the perfect place to watch the city from above.

If you're looking for that classic Seattle skyline picture, this is where you'll want to go.

Although our visit was short, a few hours in Seattle gave us a great taste of everything the city has to offer.
