Atlantic City, New Jersey

Atlantic City, New Jersey

Casinos, beaches, and the boardwalk.

There’s something for everyone in Atlantic City.

We flew into Philadelphia, Pennsylvania airport and rented a car to drive to Atlantic City. It was around an hour and 10 minutes away from Philadelphia.

Caesar’s Atlantic City

We stayed at the Caesar’s casino. It was located on the iconic boardwalk. We were a block over from the beach. We could walk the boardwalk for food, souvenirs, casinos, and the beach.

They had a pool at the top that had a panoramic view of the beach, ocean, casinos, and boardwalk. It was serene. You need to make a reservation for a spot ahead of time.

There were also multiple restaurants to dine at along the boardwalk and in the casinos.

Hell's Kitchen

This is an immersive experience like you’ve never seen or experienced before. You need to make reservations ahead of time. A hostess guides you to your table and gives you information about Gordon Ramsay, his show, restaurant, food, and cooking expertise. Once at your table the waitress brings over a drink menu. The drinks are so unique to choose from. Then after they bring out a dinner menu. The food is exquisite and an experience in itself. They have an option for dessert if you’re not too full. My favorite part was the gold cutlery and elegant ambience.

Rainforest Cafe

This is such a staple restaurant with great food and drinks. This was walking distance from Caesar’s Palace and located on the boardwalk.

Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill

This is located inside Caesar’s Palace. We ate here for brunch and dinner.

Carousel Bar

This rotating bar is located in Bally’s Casino. The bar rotates while you sit and drink around it. This immersive experience is the first of its kind in New Jersey.

If you are on the look out for live music, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino had live music each night that was a rockin' time. We had to Uber from Caesars there and back.

We ventured across the boardwalk to chill on the beach for a few hours. We rented chairs and soaked up the serenity of the ocean and the surrounding boardwalk.

We went to Atlantic City during the week, so the vibe was chill and the gambling tables weren't packed. Also the food places didn't have long waits either. There is something for everyone to do while visiting here. There are shops/outlets away from the boardwalk also if you want to shop a day while you're there.
